We are seeking to hire an employee who will work 100% remote to join our growing Insurance Accounting team in the role of Sr. Accountant. Company is located in California. Your skills and experience in the insurance industry as a Sr. Accountant with a specialization in statutory accounting in property, casualty, life or health accounting area is a great match. Among other duties you will prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly and annual financial statements per statutory requirements, perform financial analyses, consolidations, and prepare complex operating and other financial reports and handle special projects as assigned. We are looking for candidates with 5-10+ years of accounting experience, BS degree, a CPA is a plus, and who have strong statutory accounting experience in property, casualty, life or health insurance, and solid Excel skills. Database tools and data analytics would also be a good plus. Company is located in Los Angeles, CA, so candidates must live in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time zones. We are offering a starting salary range of $100-115K, depending on location and experience, great benefits, and opportunity for growth.
